Single User Pricing
Run API quality, conformance and security tests from inside the IDE

Paid single-user subscribers have access to the 42Crunch developer community, self-service tutorials and can also submit issues to our support team via our support portal.

You can use your credit card to pay for any monthly or annual single-user or team subscriptions.

If you sign up for any annual subscription then we can arrange for you to pay by bank transfer.  Please contact us to arrange this option.

If you are on a Single user or "Teams" subscription then you can manage your subscription by logging into the billing portal.

If you are an enterprise customer you can contact our billing team or your account manager directly.

You first need to download the 42Crunch OpenAPI (Swagger) Editor IDE extension in VScode, Intellij or Eclipse

Within the extension, you need to open or create an OpenAPI file. The first time you try to audit or scan an API, you are asked to provide your email address or an API token from the platform (teams or enterprise customers only).

Add your email address and complete the registration you will be emailed a "freemium" token. Paste the token you received in the prompt and you are all set.

You can also add the token into the  extension settings (from the command line write 42crunch open settings) and you can add the token there.

Yes you can, but you will still need to request the Freemium IDE token from the 42Crunch OpenAPI Editor extension in one of the following IDEs : VS Code, IntelliJ or Eclipse.

Once you receive the token then your subscription will link up automatically and you can run the audit and scan tests on your API.

No, you can run our API security testing tools locally in the IDE, but you only get access to the 42Crunch API Security SaaS platform when you have a "team" or "enterprise" license.

The single-user license is for IDE users who wish to test their APIs for quality, conformance and security. Everything works from within the IDE.

The token allows the 42crunch testing tools (Audit and Scan) to function and provide you with the correct number of audit and scan allowances based on your subscription.
